Acrylic Sealer Undercoat
Duxson Acrylic Sealer Undercoat is an acrylic based undercoat with high covering power, excellent adhesion and good filling properties. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications when finished with and appropriate top coat.
Ceiling White
Duxson Ceiling White is a premium quality, ultra flat, acrylic based, paint formulated specially for use on ceilings where, if no colour change is involved it’s high covering power enables an excellent finish to be obtained with only one coat - for ceilings in wet, steamy areas, Duxson Acrylic Low Sheen is recommended. Duxson Ceiling White is also suitable for use as a wall paint where washability is not a requirement. The ultra flat finish of Duxson Ceiling White makes it ideal for use on surfaces with minor imperfections, which may be accentuated when coated with low sheen paints.
Low Sheen Acrylic
Duxson Master Decorator Interior Acrylic in Low Sheen finish is a premium quality, hard wearing, easy to clean, acrylic based paint, which dries to a smooth velvet finish suitable for all interior walls and ceilings - Duxson Ceiling White may be used where a flat finish is desired and in wet and steamy areas Duxson Acrylic Satin is preferred. On timber surfaces such as doors, cupboards, furniture and architraves, use Duxson Satin Enamel or Duxson Gloss Enamel.
Acrylic Satin
Duxson Acrylic Satin is a premium quality, acrylic based satin paint ideal for use in wet areas such as bathrooms, and laundries. Duxson Acrylic Satin is also suitable for use on exterior masonry, brick, render and cement sheet surfaces.
Galvanised Iron Primer
Duxson Galvanised Iron Primer is a specially formulated, acrylic based lead free primer designed to provide good adhesion to galvanised iron and ZincalumeII® for subsequent coatings. It is suitable for both exterior and interior use.
Acrylic Wood Primer
Duxson Acrylic Wood Primer is a specially formulated primer for use on new or burnt-off timber. It combines the application advantages of a water based paint, the durability of a pure acrylic, plus the added benefit of sealing back sap stains. Duxson Acrylic Wood Primer can be used as a primer under Duxson Acrylic Gloss, Duxson Timbertone Low Sheen or Duxson Gloss Enamel.
Weathertone Exterior Acrylic
Duxson™ Weathertone is a premium quality, long life, exterior acrylic based paint that dries quickly to a durable finish on weatherboard, exterior timber and masonry (brick, cement sheet and render) surfaces without the need for a separate primer coat. Suitable for painting surfaces for the collection of drinking water.
Duxson™ Weathertone is available in Gloss and Low Sheen finishes in a wide range of colours and tints.
Metal Primer
Duxson Metal Primer is a premium quality zinc phosphate based primer, which is available in various colours and designed to inhibit corrosion when applied as part of an exterior paint system. Surfaces primed with this material may be left exposed for several months before top coating without adverse effect on the coating or substrate.
This product is not recommended for use on new galvanised iron - Duxson Galvanised Iron Primer or Etch Primer is more suitable in this instance.
Oil Wood Primer
Duxson Oil Wood Primer is a lead free primer, specially formulated for use under exterior enamel finishes. Duxson Oil Wood Primer is suitable for use on all new or old unpainted timber surfaces.
Undercoat
Duxson Undercoat is a premium quality lead-free undercoat especially for use under enamel finishes. It has been formulated to provide excellent exterior durability on timber when used as a system with Duxson Pink Primer and Duxson Gloss Enamel and is ideal for interior applications such as bare timber or previously painted surfaces.
Flat Enamel
Duxson Flat Enamel is a specially formulated flat enamel finish designed for use on interior walls and ceilings where its ultra flat finish makes it ideal for hiding minor surface imperfections. Duxson Flat Enamel will give greater stain and water resistance than water based flat paints.
Satin Enamel
Duxson Satin Enamel is a premium quality, hard wearing, interior satin enamel finish. It is the ideal coating for high wear and wet areas such as bathrooms and laundries. For extra film toughness, Duxson High Wear Additive may be added to Duxson Satin Enamel prior to painting. Duxson Satin Enamel is not recommended for exterior use.
Gloss Enamel
Duxson Gloss Enamel is a premium quality, hard-wearing, durable, high gloss enamel. It is recommended for all exterior and interior surfaces, including furniture and children’s toys, where a tough barrier is required. For extra toughness, Duxson High-Wear Additive may be added prior to painting.
Polyurethane Finishes
Duxson Polyurethane finishes are premium quality, hard wearing, clear polyurethane based coatings available as gloss, satin and matt. They are not recommended for exterior use. For additional toughness, Duxson High Wear Additive may be added. For timber floors, Tradepaints Polyurethane Floor Coating is recommended.
